No, it is entirely false. The producers of "The Fourth Kind" were sued because they made people believe that it was real and they posted fake obituaries and websites saying the movie is true even though it isn't. The reason no one knows about this lawsuit is because they paid $20,000 to keep it quiet. There is so much more proving that this is fake, read the links i have provided. Also there are no recorded cases of a white owl being involved in UFO sightings/alien interactions. Actually, the white owl is from a northern Europe myth saying about a family that was cursed by an omen of a white owl that could wake the dead. Nome actually was not visited by the FBI 2,000 times, nome is actually a really small town. So it is false.

....But there is something suspicious about it, isn't there? I mean, Nome is an anogram for omen, and there are many cases of missing people who have NEVER been found, and their cases are unsolved. Also, Alaska has one of the most alien sightings, and if aliens were to abduct someone, wouldn't a sleepy, flat town in the middle of nowhere be the best place to do so? So, although the specific cases are 100% false, there may be some true ones. There would be no way of knowing.

So, to answer your question, fourth kind is absolutely NOT TRUE. But don't let that make you stop believing in alien abductions. It is totally possible, in my opinion anyways. Like they said at the end of the movie, "The truth is for you to decide."

The film is not entirely false if you do your homework. More a montage of other actual alleged encounters.

Some correlations: there are actually cases of supposed alien abduction such as that of Whitley Strieber, that are based on true stories that involve screen memories (fake memories that are conjured/implanted to protect/inhibit the victim from recalling what actually occurred)

In his book Communion (1988) he consistently mentions seeing an owl before or during the time of alleged abduction.

Numerous other actual accounts/recollections of abduction also report to have seen, recalled or dreamed of owls during or before their alleged 4th encounters.

In Striebers book Communion, he includes the actual transcripts of his hypnosis which is also a similarity.

If you are interested in non-fictional cases, read the Communion series or if you are lazy, the film is available on YouTube, but I don't recommend it as it does not really honestly represent Strieber as a person, nor his story.

Though I am working to debunk Striebers story. I tend to work backwards from belief to disbelief. Some also call him a liar. But who cares eh, its a great story and nobody is really going to know either way if it happened at least not now.

Strieber aside, it is up to you to research. Dont believe everything you see but also, don't disbelieve it.

I am looking for that same answer as I saw the movie it had a lot of connections to my real life and I remember other lives before I was born and one of them was in a crystal planet and we were all murdered and the planet exploded. The movie made me cry because of how familiar it felt to move all the time and have people not understand you and have strange powers....so....Yes. To me it is.
