They aren't extremely noisy. They useally bray right around feeding time, when a new donkey enters the herd, or when they really want some attention. But the miniature donkey's sweet disposition and friendly personality makes up for any extra noise they make. I personally cannnot imagine life without them. They seem to be addictive..... :)
