Sure a computer costs more than a PS3 which is also better than a PS2. Of course there are old computers that don't even have LCD screens. There is no reason a person can not have a PS2 and a computer. Used PS2s can be found for as low as $20-25. I have a PS3 and a Computer and if either breaks I would just upgrade it to a newer model
