Legally, your parents cannot kick you out of the house if you are under 18, no matter what state you live in, whether you are gay or straight. But it happens all the time anyway.
Simple answer yes.
Yes they can, welcome to being an adult.
The 20 year old is an adult. The parents do not have to provide him a place to live.
Not until they are 18 years of age. Until then the parents determine where you live.
No, but if you live in their house and you are 18, they can legally kick you out.
Yes they can legally. You are now considered an adult by the law, therefore they can kick you out and make you live on your won.
They can't make u do anything. They could kick you out of the house though.
The owner of the house can kick anyone out unless they pay rent but your mother can not kick her minor child out. That is illegal. So this would be on her shoulders, not his.
The parents are responsible for providing shelter for their minor child; however, the shelter does not necessarily have to be with them (the parents). The parents could certainly have the child live with someone else. The parents may also relinquish their rights to the child completely, and the child would then be the subject of the state. So, it depends on what you consider "kick out".
