Even if you found a way to connect it is would not allow the Laptop to work and only serve as a HDTV for the PS3. You would not be able to use the laptop to influence the game play. The PS3 would still need the power source and controller and you would still need a separate WiFi or Ethernet internet connection for online play. You would merely be using the A/V output of a PS3 to connect and play on your laptop
