Canada is located North of the Great Divide, therefore the water either drains North to the Arctic Ocean or East to the Atlantic Ocean. If an area is located south of the Great Divide, it drains west to the Pacific Ocean.
I am a seventh grader and we were studying this back in the second six weeks. I found out that the Jumano Indian tribe lived in adobe houses in the mountains and basins region.
The Congo Basin.
They are found in basins.
Well, actually most people said the Sahara, but actually it is just a plateau, the plateau has no name, Geographers sometimes refer to Africa--the world's second largest continent-- as the "Plateau Continent", also to add that the Sahara is 3,000 miles across the continent from the Atlantic Sea to the Red Sea, and also runs 1,200 miles from the North to South. The Sahara runs across 3 Basins, which last to i check Basins are NOT HIGHLAND.
Pacific Ocean, Atlantic Ocean, Indian Ocean, & Arctic Ocean (these are listed largest to smallest)
In the Atlantic and eastern Pacific regions, cyclones are called hurricanes in the United States and some areas of the Caribbean. In the western Pacific and southeastern Indian Ocean, cyclones are typically referred to as typhoons, while in the South Pacific and Indian Ocean they are known as cyclones.

The global oceans are divided by continental land masses into the Pacific, Atlantic, Indian, Southern (Antarctic), and Arctic oceans. These divisions are based on the geography of the Earth's continents and the interconnectedness of the ocean basins.
There has not been a hurricane Angie in the Atlantic, Eastern Pacific, or Central Pacific basins. The name Angie has not been used as an official hurricane name.
its basinly in the ocean
There are two types of lithosphere: the oceanic lithosphere and the continental lithosphere. The oceanic lithosphere exists in the ocean basins while the continental lithosphere exists in the continental crust.

No, not all of Earth's ocean basins are less than 2000 million years old. While many ocean basins have formed and changed over the last 200 million years due to plate tectonics, some features, like the Atlantic Ocean, have origins that date back to around 200 million years ago. In contrast, older oceanic crust can be found in certain areas, such as parts of the Pacific Ocean, which can be much older, but the ocean basins themselves continuously evolve and are shaped by geological processes.
Hurricanes usually occur in the North Atlantic Ocean, the Northeast Pacific Ocean, and the Northwest Pacific Ocean. These regions are known as basins where tropical cyclones, including hurricanes, typically form.
Sea level is about 20 cm higher on the Pacific side than the Atlantic due to the water being less dense on average on the Pacific side and due to the prevailing weather and ocean conditions. Such sea level differences are common across many short sections of land dividing ocean basins.
The ocean covers about 70% of the Earth's surface and is divided into five main basins: the Pacific, Atlantic, Indian, Southern, and Arctic Ocean. These oceans are interconnected, but the distribution varies with the Pacific Ocean being the largest and the Arctic Ocean being the smallest.
