At the end of the movie "The Sixth Sense", it turned out that Bruce Willis' character of Dr. Malcolm Crowe was actually dead all along as the little boy had the ability to "see dead people." This is a common theme M. Night Shyamalan films where there is an unexpected swerve at the end of the film that many film goers do not expect. What a twist!

If you mean as in the saying, "I see dead people", It's from an old movie called the sixth sense. An eight year old boy named Cole is possessed, or gifted, and sees dead people every day of his life, and finaly he meets a therapist whom he trusts enough to tell him his secret-I see dead people! Or you might just plainly have the ability to see people that aren't in physical form.
The following is the plot to a rather good movie who's major impact is in its surprise. If you have seen the movie, reading this will spoil it for you. There is a child psychologist who is shot by one of his patients now an adult. The incident unsettles him significantly and does a lot to upset his marriage. After a time however he decides to get back in the business and takes the case of an unhappy boy. After a time of bounding the boy at last confides in him that he 'sees dead people', 'all the time'. And it slowly develops that this might be the most probable explanation of the situation. Through the coaching of the psychiatrist the boy comes to understand that these ghosts are trying to get him to help them, rather than just haunt him. He does so and untangles some truly gruesome affairs. The psychiatrist them comes to realize that he is actually dead and that he is just another one of the boy's ghosts who has a past-life that needs untangling as well.
