Best thing would be to defragment the hard drive. I recommend Defraggler by Piriform. Also deleting temp files and doing a disk check will help.
Get a program called recuva by piriform, the creators of crap cleaner. With that you should be able to locate the file and save to an external drive.
While possibly not the latest, Recuva is a renowned recovery software developed by Piriform for the recovery of deleted files.
You can perform a data recovery operation on your hard drives using free software such as Recuva. You can download Recuva for free from the Piriform website.
Well, that will depend. However, if you download Piriform Speccy, you should be able to easily find out information about your graphic card and much more (for free too!)
Try going to Start -> All Programs -> CCleaner. You can also hit Windows+R (or Start -> Run) and type in CCleaner and click OK. I have included a link to Piriform's docs in the Docs section.
Try turning off your internet router or modem for a few minuets. Also run CCleaner to clear your cache but only download it from piriform com website as others could be fake.
Clean it up. Defragment your hard drive, clear out the temporary files etc. Also may be worth cleaning the registry. I can recommend a great product Piriform CCleaner.
The correct program is called Ccleaner. It is available from Piriform's website. It is a very handy program that can selectively remove cookies, pack your browser databases if you like leaving tabs open a lot, and remove a lot of clutter.
