My 14 yr old son skips school and lies and gets into fights and gets detentions. Taking away his things doesn't help he just ends up in more trouble. So what is a good punishment for a 14 year old?

Negative reinforcement won't help at this point and will just fracture your relationship more, speaking from experience. Find out why this behavior is happening and if you can't, take him to a psychologist.
