Unfortunately this means that your gba game is a fake. You might have ordered it online or bought it second hand from an ebgames/(insert the name of your gamestore here).
Signs that your game is a fake is the large circular battery visible from the front of your cartridge and messily typed numbers on the back instead of the neat and tidy Nintendo id numbers. Also, as you've experienced, noncompatibility with Nintendo ds games.
I'd suggest contacting whoever sold it to you but I find most retailers have a no return policy after 14 days. So if you're past that, you might be out of luck. (Remember they might be just as clueless about fake games as you, so don't be too mad with them.)
I hope I helped.
it doesn't get deleted
You have to catch Pokemon you migrated from FireRed, LeafGreen, Ruby, or Sapphire. Have a GBA game in the Gameboy slot. On the Pearl title screen, select ''Migrate from (name of Gameboy game). then head for Pal Park.
First, start your DS or DSi, then go to the Pokemon Platinum icon, and hold SELECT, B and up until you get to the thing with Giratina on it. Then let go of all of the buttons and it will freeze. Restart your system and when you hit start on the title screen, it will say "The save file is corrupted. It will be deleted. Deleting..." NO WORRIES! The game cannot delete the file because it is protected by the SRGX3000 card inside the cartridge that was activated by holding the buttons. Now, when you start your game, you will end up in a black nothing. Hit X, pull out your map then exit. Now, you are back inside your bedroom, and the game has started all back over again, but you still have your items, Pok?mon and your badges, you just have to get another starter Pok?mon.
Well, you can download a game like that. But it takes after Pokemon Ruby. And also, I think there is a website called Pokemon Crater, but it got deleted or something like that.
Hidden Moves or HMs can be deleted using the Move Deleter in Canalave City
If You Migrated Your Pokemon Are Not in the game Anymore
I found out that when you leave a game cartridge in the sun too long it will automatically erase, i happened to me with pokemon emerald!
Don't hatch it unless you want your game deleted.
there's a good chance that your battery might be dry. Once that happens you can still play your game but you won't be able to save or migrate Pokemon to the DS games. the only way to fix it is to replace your battery but once it's replaced all of your data on the cartridge will be deleted.
You need to get the battery in the game cartridge replaced. Most gamestops will do it for you.
If u can't do it in platinum u cant do in in your game. :3
you go to <add new game> and enter the game code
It is because your game cartridge is out of batteries for more information go to google and search Pokemon Gold Cheats and pick the 2 one
Leafgreen is probably corrupted or damaged somehow you will have to get a new one. I doubt platinum is damaged because its a very new game.
There's a man in Pastoria City (around the center, I think) who teaches Pokemon forgotten moves in exchange for a Heart Scale (you can easily find these underground).
Unfortuantely, no. I've tried it with my Pearl, and the Migrate option didn't show up. When I started up Naranja afterwards, the save file got deleted. :( An alternative, however, is to trade your Naranja Pokemon to Ruby, Sapphire, FireRed, LeafGreen, or Emerald, and then migrate the Pokemon from there.
It is a glitch within the system and your Pokemon will not be actually deleted unless it really is a glitched Pokemon.
