It's "prequel". It's a recently made-up word that combines "pre" (before) with "sequel" (another story). So it's another story that takes place before the first one. The idea is that it explains how Peter came to Neverland, how he can fly, where Captain Hook came from, etc.

Why did Peter Pan cut off Captain Hook's left hand and feed it to the crocodile?

Because he wanted to stop Captain Hook from Capturing Molly in "Peter and the Starcatchers." So at the end of "Peter and the starcatchers" Peter Pan used his dagger (little sword) to cut off Captain Hook's left hand. Then Peter Pan said to Smee when Peter Pan was holding Captain Hook's left hand "Hey Smee it's me hand pick me up hand". And After that Peter Pan fed Captain Hook's left hand to the Crocodile which is the alligator from Peter Pan. The crocodile's real name is Mr. Grin. Captain Hook was oringinally as Black Stache. Black Stache was renamed to Captain Hook after when Peter Pan cut off Captain Hook's left hand and fed it to the crocodile.

Will there be a Peter Pan III?

It's doubtful that Disney will make another sequel to follow "Return to Never Land" (it didn't make a huge amount of money), but never say "never".But there are a some Peter Pan novels (one sequel, and a series of prequels) that are supposedly in pre-production to be made into movies. The sequel is called "Peter Pan in Scarlet", and it was authorized by the hospital that used to own the rights to Peter Pan. The first prequel is called "Peter and the Starcatchers", and was written by Dave Barry and Ridley Pearson. There are quite a few other seqels out there (http://peterphile.info/pan/Peter_Pan_books), but those are the ones that might make it to the big screen.

Why is Captain Hook so mean in Peter Pan?

What is the name of the crocodile who swallowed a clock in Peter Pan?

In the original book he has no name, but in the later books Peter and the Starcatchers & Peter and the Shadow Thieves, he was called Mr. Grin. After the Disney movie there was a series of comics published and in those the character was known as Tick-Tock the Croc. Hope that helps?!?
