A turn signal not working on a 92 Chevy Lumina may be out because of a burnt out bulb. If you replace the bulb and it is still not working, the turn signal switch may need to be replaced. You can get the switch replaced by a mechanic.

∙ 14y agoIf the turn signal does not work and the front blinks very fast you might want to check the bulbs first. Then the fuse which is located on the drivers side. Open the door and you'll see the fuse compartment. But if one signal works and the other doesn't it won't be the fuse. If this doesn't work it might be the flasher unit but changes are this won't be it either. They normally don't have a high failure rate. The next thing to check is the circuit board on the rear tail light assembly. Open the tail gate and remove the two screws that hold the lens in the body of the truck. When you take the screws out rotate the lens out. Disconnect the wiring harness and then take the two screws out of the bulb holder. There should be three bulbs. You can't see it but there is a circuit board that connects the bulbs to the harness connections. This circuit board fails frequently and changes are this is what the problem is on a Chevy pickup. You can purchase this part at Napa for about $33.00 or at a dealership for about $45.00. You might be able to buy it on line for less. It's a easy fix if you know that these fail frequently. Chevy dealers know there is a high failure rate.

∙ 14y agoJust go and buy a flasher from Autozone or something, they are located right below the driver side, and make sure to check what kind of flasher your going to need because there are two different kinds, the flasher is the one that is silver and round.
