Everyone makes there own decisions... The game has mild swearing and is based around violence but in today's standards we're all used to that. The thing is it may be a bit scary for a young child but it all depends on what the kid's used to. Scarecrow's world freaks me out and is full of drugs and violence (it is set in a morgue after all). Also the humour is mainly pointed at adults so a young child may not get the whole enjoyment out of the game.
