It showed the dark side of Canada and how many people needed help yet they only got help after years of waiting for the government to take action. Further more it should how selfish people are and how they could take advantage of the situation such as relief camps and being paid like nothing for doing so much and this program was connect to the government (the military did this.) Showed the real side of Canada in the worst time, a time of need... Canada has scared itself, the Great Depression didn't do nothing but show use who we really are.
