And after 16 years of putting the new film together, made episode I II and III. Ending in a result of 6 Star Wars movies. Also, resulting with a world wide number, a sum of 8 billion dollars in total of the whole Star Wars saga put together. Lucas is now looking into making all 6 Star Wars ilms into 3D. And is also looking into making 3 more Star Wars films, set after episode VI.

From the success of the Star Wars films Lucas went on to create Industrial Light & Magic which created effects for many other films. I understand that Lucas made more from merchandise than the films made for Fox. Shame he got greedy and made Phantom Manace, but that's a whole new story...
