ALL US Coins dated 1989 have the motto E PLURIBUS UNUM on them.. A denomination is needed.
That quote is from "Say Anything..." with John Cusack.

Value depends on the condition, low $15.00 high $30.00
If you want to sell it. Take it to a coin dealer.
There is no such thing as an e pluribus unum dollar coin, what you are referring to is an Esienhower dollar. To buy a circulated one, you can pay about $1.50 at a coin shop, or occasionally banks may get one or two in and you can get it for face value. It is a common coin and an uncirculated example should run you only $3-4 at the most (assuming you want the most common die variety).
A coin dealer can inspect any silver US coin and give you an estimate of its value. If you want a more offical estimate then you can have it submitted to a third party grading company and for a fee they will grade and encapsulate it. Although they do not attach values to them, their grading can give you a more exact starting point to determining the coin's actual value.
I modified your question because (a) there's more than one picture, (b) there's more than one coin, and (c) you want to see it rather than the staff at this site.Anyway, you can find loads of pictures at www.coinfacts.com, among thousands of such sites. Take a look at http://www.coinfacts.com/silver_dollars/morgan_dollars/1884_morgan_dollars/1884_morgan_silver_dollar.htm for a fantastic image.BTW, ALL U.S. coins carry the motto "E Pluribus Unum" so that's not a distinctive feature.
If it has a picture of one of the early presidents on the front, and the date and E Pluribus Unum inscribed on the edge, it's a current-issue circulation coin worth face value only. Hundreds of millions are minted every year.
100-500 USD
You should first examine the coin to see if it has the word "COPY" on it. There have been many replicas of Continental coins struck over the years. Some were for novelty collectors' sets and others are outright counterfeits (which, of course, would NOT have the word "COPY"!) Given that, it's not likely the coin is genuine. If you want to make absolutely certain, it would have to be examined in person by someone who deals in early U.S. coins.
