Sherlock Holmes 2 is currently being filmed in the Chatham dockyards and can be found next to the Ropery. I was there breifly before being whizzed away by a security guard.

I don't think this question exactly has an answer. Sherlock Holmes is (regrettably) a fictitious character created by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. The first book he appeared in was titled 'A Study in Scarlet' and written by the same man. There were many stories written and filmed about Sherlock Holmes subsequent to this.
