No, Back to the Future was filmed while Michael J. Fox was already filming the sitcom Family Ties full time. In fact, that is the main reason he turned down the role at first. He only accepted after the other guy who was supposed to play Marty -- Eric Stoltz -- didn't work out.
He filmed Family Ties during the day, and Back to the Future at night, and got no sleep at all for months. So, since he barely had enough time to film one movie at night and a sitcom during the day, I very much doubt he would've been able to film two movies at night and a sitcom during the day. Doing so would only have delayed the first film's release, since he had only limited time to spend on the project.
Furthermore, Wikipedia (see the Related Link below) says that Back to the Future Parts 2 and 3 were filmed back-to-back. It seems reasonable to infer from this statement that Part 2 wasn't filmed at the same time Part 1 was.
Wikipedia also says that Parts 2 and 3 were filmed concurrently (at the same time). Some scenes from Part 3 were filmed alongside scenes from Part 2. Perhaps that is what you are referring to. Information has a way of getting garbled when it passes from person to person (remember playing telephone in grade school).
The television show, The Dukes of Hazzard (1979) was filmed on the same set. In addition, The Music Man(1962) used the set originally.
Back to the Future shot on so many locations, you might see some of the sets on different shows or movies. Also you might have seen it in "Ghost Whisperer". But as it was not a great movie, you won't see much about the Ladies Man. And I think tracking down the directorReginald Hudlin Is your best bet.But like I said,Back to the future had many locations...both real and built.
That was a DeLorean. Same car in the Back to the Future movies.
couple retired was filmed on the same island as couples retreat. which was not that great of a movie
No, they were not. Parts of Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End was filmed at the same time as Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest, but both were not filmed in their entirety at the same time. Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl was filmed 3-4 years before the sequels.

The movie is That Thing You Do. However, the entire movie was filmed in So Calif. the scen in question, where the band won the talent show, was actually filmed at Hollywood Methodist Church, the same location as seen in Back to the Future "Enchantment Under The Seas Dance"
At the same house where later Downton Abbey was filmed. Is it called Highclere Castle in Hampshire, England.

I actually don't know when but I do know that the third Twilight movie will be out in June 2010 and apparently they have filmed all the Twilight movies back-to-back so when the first one was out the second one was being filmed and the same with the second
I think it's a place called cala gracio, which is literally just outside San Antonio. I've just come back from there and I swear it's the same place!
Different part numbers.

I believe the word is 'were' not 'was,' but yes, they were both filmed in New Zealand
