∙ 11y agothe book is literally his story, ponyboy may narrate it, but johnny is the one who kills bob. so i guess heres a list of possible answers

∙ 11y agoJohnny used to be the "pet of the gang". He was never really tough, because he was abused. When he goes into the church to help save the kids, he is being selfless, and doesn't think about himself in this critical time. When he passed away, everyone knew him as a kind person who made choices for himself, risky ones.
