Spongebob is a sponge that lives in a pineapple under the sea. He lives next to a squid named squidward that does not like him and attempts to move away but fails. He likes to play the Clarinet but is very bad at it. Squidward also lives in an eastern island head. On the other side of squidward is patrick. Patrick is a fat, pink starfish that lives under a rock. He is spongebob's best friend and together they make all kinds of trouble even though they don't know it. Spongebob has a pet snail named Gary who meows like a cat in response to when somebody talks to him. Spongebob works at the Krusty Krab resturaunt where he is the fry cook and squidward is the cashier. His boss is Mr. Krabs who is a red crab that is extremely cheap. He has a sailor's accent and no matter how bossy he gets, Spongebob is happy to work for him. Mr. Krabs has a daughter named perl who is spoiled and cries often. She is sixteen and is a whale. He also has an enemy named plankton who is always looking for ways to steal the secret formula to the secret sauce to the Krabby patty which Mr. Krabs sells at the Krusty Krab. Spongebob has another friend named Sandy, who is a karate master from Texas. She is a squirrel and a scientist that lives in an underwater tree dome. Spongebob does not know how to drive, so his "boat" (car in spongebob) teacher is Mrs. Puff. A pufferfish who is about to give up on spongebob driving and will try every chanc she gets. Spongebob lives in a town called bikini bottom- a small town under the sea. Spongebob also has his favorite super heros- mermaid man and barnacle boy. Mermaid man is an old man with a special crime fighting belt and a bra made out of shells. He is a fat man and lives in a retiremant home with his sidekick- barnacle boy. Barnacle boy is another old man that is skinny, has a big nose like squidward, and a bandana around his neck. He prefers to be called barnacle man.
