He went to the Shinigami world after Light told him to get rid of the death note, but he returned after Light memory's back
For a Shinigami to give a human the shinigami eyes (so that they can see humans names) the person must give up half of the number of years they have left to live to the Shinigami. Mikami did just that so that he could assist 'God' (a.k.a. (Kira, Light)). yeah but how does he get them like did he have his own shinigami or something because im cluless Mikami traded the shinigami eyes with Ryuk.
Nobody Really Knows For Sure. There Is 3 Theorys: 1): Before Light Dies, He Says He Hates A Life Of Killing People And He Asks Ryuk To Kill Him. Then When He's Dead, He's In The Shinigami Realm And He's Suffering The Pain Of The Many Deaths He Caused, But He Still Wants To Make A New World. 2): Light Dies And Goes To Mu, Or Nothingness. 3): Light Dies Then Becomes A Shinigami. As A Shinigami, Light Is Asking Ryuk If There's Anyway To Get To The Human Realm Without Dropping Your Deathnote. Death Note Fans Say That Theory 3 Is The One That Will Lead To Season 3 Of Death Note.
Yes. Ryuk's- Light's name was written then Ryuk took it back to the Shinigami world. Rem's- Burned by Near. Sidoh's- Burned by Near. Gelus's- In ground. [not 100 percent sure]
The Shinigami goes down to the human world and "drops" the Death Note that they had prepared for the human. Then a human picks up this notebook, and within a few days or weeks, that human will see and be followed by the Shinigami that previously owned that Death Note. Once the Death Note is being used, with each human that person kills, the remaining life span of the one killed is transferred to the Shinigami. When the person with the Death Note dies, either the ownership goes back to the Shinigami, or the next human that picks it up, and then the Shinigami that followed the previous person, now follows the new owner. Alternatively, if the question refers to the notebooks as they were transfered from person to person throughout the series: Sidoh's - Ryuk takes it and drops it in the human world. Light picks it up and uses it. Rem becomes the shinigami in possession of the note (instead of Ryuk). Rem takes it to Higuchi. It is taken as evidence by Japanese Task Force. It is given to the Mafia. It Goes back to task force. It is taken to the yellowbox warehouse. It is burned. Rem's - It kills L and Watari. Light takes it. He Gives to Mikami. It is taken by the SPK. It is burned. Ryuk's- It kills Light and goes back to shinigami realm, never leaving Ryuk's possession. Gelus's- It is left ownerless when Gelus dies. It is given to Misa Amane. Misa uses it and gives it to Light. Ryuk becomes the shinigami possessing the notebook (instead of Rem). It is buried. Misa digs it up later. Note: The "cycle" of Gelus' notebook is incomplete. Anyone who can fill it in should do so.

Unfortunately, No, Light Dies At The End Of Episode 37. There Is Rumors That He Becomes A Shinigami And Trys To Become A Human Again In Season 3, But That Hasn't Been Confirmed Yet.
Well... 1) some shinigami must eat apples to retain their happiness. Ryuk goes into a depressive state without apples, and twists up his body to show his displeasure. 2) apples from the shinigami realm are withered and bitter, while apples from the realm of the living are sweet and delicious. Ryuk is addicted to apples, much like other shinigami are addicted to alcohal and smoking Ryuk said that(don't know if he said it in the manga)apples in the shinigami world, apples are consider cigarettes and/or alcohol
