∙ 13y agoHera is the goddess of marriage and family, so she got mad whenever Zeus had an affair with a mortal, which happened a lot. One one of these occassions, Artemis and Apollo were going to be born, but Hera wouldn't let her stay on any land. When she finally found an island that wasn't hooked to the bottom of the ocean yet, Hera refused to let the goddess of childbirth come to her for a while.
Hera's sacred animal is the cow.
