I don't know of a comprehensive list, but most of the demons in Inuyasha are loosely based around a type of animal. There are fox demons like Shippo, wolf demons like Koga. Inuyasha's dad (also Sesshomaru's dad), Sesshomaru and Sesshomaru's mom are all dog demons. There is also a bat demon (which Inuyasha gets the Red Tetsaiga from) and there are cat demons. There is that "racoon dog" demon (an actual animal in Japan) that is a friend of Miroku. There were also bird demons like Princess Abi, her mom and her minions and the ninja demons were a turtle, a bird, a snake and a tiger (Chinese elementals). These demons seem to have two forms: a human-like form and a "true" form that is larger and more animal like. I assume this is also true for Myoga, the flea demon. The black pearl forging demon (Hosenki) is like an oyster or something demon. There are also less human demons such as the horse the blacksmith that forged Tetsaiga (Totosai) rides and Kirara, the two-tailed cat demon (I think they give it a name, but it is based on Japanese folk lore). These seem to be less human-like. Naraku is more of an amalgamation. He is a composite of many demons, as are his incarnations. Dragons are completely different from demons in Inuyasha and are typically more powerful, but Inuyasha and Sesshomaru have each defeated one. I don't know how Ah-Un and Jaken fit-in, but I assume Jaken at least is a type of demon.
