When alternating current of any frequency is fully rectified, both halves of the wave are converted to direct current and utilized. Half-wave rectification is when half of the wave is ignored. So the main characteristic that is changed is the shape of wave by flipping half the wave over to the same side as the rest. But it does not flatten the peaks on the wave without additional filtering.

Frequency
Wave Rock, in Western Australia, was believed to have been formed by the combination of chemical weathering in the subsurface, before Wave Rock was even fully exposed, together with gradual fluvial erosion of the softer granite beneath the upper surface.
we cannot use transformer because transformer cannot change frequency . . .
There is no relation between wave length and wave height. You can change the wave height independently from the wave length. Wave height tells you which amplitude the wave has. If you think of sound that means how loud it is. The wave length tells you the pitch or the frequency of this sound, that means high or low sound. Long wavelength means bass sound and short wavelength means treble sound.
Modulation is defined as a process by which any characteristics of a wave is varied as a function of the instantaneous value of another wave. The first wave which is a high frequency sine wave is known as carrier wave. Second wave is known as modulating wave and the resultant wave is known as the modulated wave.
It is smoothing
Amplitude, frequency, wavelength and wave speed are the four characteristics of waves that can change...
i dont know,,,give me ans
full wave rectifier, because in half wave rectifier only one p-n junction diode Ans 2. In full wave rectifier both negative & positive cycles are rectified , but , in half wave rectifier only the positive or the negative cycle is rectified . That's why full wave rectifier provides more power .
It's hard to define a sound, but here's a try: A half-wave rectified sine sounds harsh and whiney. Not as sharp and jagged as a square wave, but not nearly as pure and smooth as a sine. The key is to realize that the half-wave rectified sine is a sine plus a significant load of harmonics, and wherever there is a lot of harmonic energy, we call it "total harmonic distortion". So the bottom line is, anything that isn't a pure sine, you would say it sounds "distorted".
Draw a sine wave, except that when it wants to go negative, keep it at zero instead.
rms value of voltage
twice the frequency that is rectified.
Pitch
The characteristics of a sound wave is the Amplitude, Frequency, Wavelength, time period, and velocity. The sound wave itself is a longitudinal wave that shows the rarefactions and compressions of a sound wave.
