I don't think there is an official Catholic stance concerning horror movies. It is said that during Lent, Catholics should act as children of the light, and do things that are good. So, as long as your horror movie watching isn't harming anyone, I don't think there would be anything wrong with it.

It is classified as a Horror movie so it's intention is to be scary. Whether it is indeed scary depends on your sensibilities.
