Flora(all the plant life found in a particular area),Fauna(all the animal life found in a particular area). Their should be biosphere reserves for the protection of flora and fauna.More botanical gardens should be established to conserve rare and threatened plants.Zoological parks should be designed where animals and birds can be protected by keeping them in cages or enclosures for public exhibition, i think that if these suggestions of mine, the government would understand, the flora and fauna of our country will be better safer.

What are the steps taken by the government to protect forest and wildlife in India?

several measurements are being taken by india's government to protect its wildlife. the most important, for all countries, is regulating population growth because if the population stops growing the need to destroy wildlife habitat, for housing, agriculture, etc., shrinks. Another one is partnerships with several other countries to import some extinct in the wild animals back to their home country for breeding programs. And lastly protecting the remaining species that have had major population drops, Asiatic cheetah, asiatic lion, nilgai, blackbuck, etc.
