You have a one in 10,000 chance of encountering a shiny Pokemon. If you find it you will be able to tell it is a shiny because it has odd colouring, Don't kill it, capture it. Shiny's are normally a little bit tougher than regular Pokemon. If you talk to Dawn she gives you the hint: If you use the poke radar and a section of long grass flashes a different colour people say a different coloured Pokemon is hiding there. But don't stand around for ages getting eyestrain like i did in the hope that the grass would flash a different colour.
at http://www.serebii.net/pokedex/ you can find all the pokémon, with their evolutions and shiny colour. (left picture/sprite is normal colour, right picture/sprite is shiny) hope this helps =)
I assume you know what a regular flashing patch looks like. Well a shiny patch looks similar, but it is brighter and flashes twice and it has a pinkish colour. Hope this helps:)
Shiny, as is bright, is shiny, NOT shiney as most mistake it for.
The shiny mew color is blue
Shiny Bronzong is a light green color.
Orange
The colour gold is a sort of shiny yellow colour.
A shiny Moltres will have a pink body and red legs.
Shiny silver colour.

You must get the purified croconaw from Pokemon colosseum or a totadile from Pokemon emerald or one from Pokemon xd gale of darkness then trade it to firered if you have the croconaw you just need to breed it to get totadile.
Pink with blue wings.
a shiny yellow
Type your answer here... Ok, how do you get a Totadile in Pkmn Diamond. You get HG, SS, Emerald, Sapphire or Ruby then you egg Totadile because you don't want to lose your starter PKMN. Then you migrate or trade it. GO ENTEI
You have to migrate.
