Egypt had a revolution, a democratization, an islamization, and then a counter-revolution which restored much of the Ancien Régime, but with a different dictator. Libya had a civil war and a new government came to power. Morocco passed amendments to the Constitution in response to protests. Algeria gunned down protesters before anything could crystallize.
