Marty returned to 1985 on November 12, 1955

In the 1980 film Somewhere in Time starring Christopher Reeve and Jane Seymour, playwright Richard Collier (Reeve) travels back in time through self-hypnosis and falls in love with actress Elise McKenna (Seymour). Her manager William Robinson (Christopher Plummer) fears that a love affair will derail her career and does his best to break-up the romance, but to no avail. However, at a critical point, Collier loses his grip on the ability to stay in the past.
In the first film, just before the Libyan terrorists interfere, Doc tells Marty that he plans to go twenty-five years into the future (which would have been 2010). In BTTF 2, they go to 2015 instead because that's when Marty's son gets into trouble.

Here we go with the paradox questions again! Marty may have disappeared at certain points in 1985, but he didn't die and he didn't do anything to jeopardize his future existence. Plus he was able to co-exist with his future or past selves as long as he kept his distance from them.

Doc enters in the date November 5, 1955, as the target date, explaining that it was the day he conceived the idea of the flux capacitor; the device which "makes time travel possible". Marty traveled back on the date he had set into the time machine. When he arrived early that morning, he did not immediately go see Doc. It was only after "bumping" into his family did he leave and go see Doc that evening---the same day, though.

1985 is when Doc Brown invented the time machine. 1955 is when Marty blocks his parents from meeting. This is for the first Back To The Future. In the second one, Marty visits 2015 and then has to go back to 1955 and 1985 both. The third one has him travelling all the way back to 1885.
Because he does not want him to die so soon.
The future tense is will go.I will go to the market tomorrow. (Future)Go to the market and get me some fruit. (Present)I went to the market yesterday. (Past)
