Best Answer

Strength in Numbers.

African wild dogs are much smaller than their neighbors like Lions, Leopards etc. But they always live in packs and help one another when in trouble. This helps them stay out of trouble. A adult lion can easily kill a single wild dog but wouldn't risk taking on a pack of wild dogs.
