The fathers taught their sons to go hunting for food. They taught them that hunting was very important to provide for their families, thus making them responsible. They were also taught how to fish using various methods, not just using a fishing pole. They caught fish with their hands and with spears made out of trees. They set traps they to catch the bigger fish. They watched how the bears caught their fish and they knew just what to do.

The mothers taught their daughters to sew and make rugs and blankets, and to cook. If some women didn't have daughters, they still did the same. The children went together to hunt and fish for fun, play in the water and swim. They learned how to swim by watching the fish. They also played with dolls, rode horses, had foot races, played Archery games, and they made bow and arrows.
