Great start. I moved to Canada 40 years ago (US born) and here is what I've learned about how to act like a Canadian.

  • Be Polite. Remember to say please and thank-you
  • Modesty. Don't be a braggart
  • Chat with your neighbors. And by neighbors, I mean any one who happens to be standing next to you. Anywhere.
  • Must have anti-freeze in your blood. Never wait for a nice day to have fun outdoors.
  • Always find the humour in a situation. Especially in yourself.
  • In a modest and constructive way, mock everything the Americans do.
