Pony thinks Darry could be a "socs" if it wasn't for the gang.
I just finished the book for school and watched the movie and i think he changed by becoming more caring, and thoughtful, and more worried.
Darry has to support and raise both his brothers, but more so Ponyboy. The Curtis parents died so to keep his family together Darry, dropped his future for the time being to take on raising Soda and Pony. As with any new parent who has not raised children and/or teens it is hard. Darry was put into a position that he did not ask for. Now he has to worry about his brother's safety and health, paying the bills on time, putting food on the table and etc... That is a lot of worries for one person to take on all at once especially a 20 year old. Basically the day the Curtis parents died is the day Darry took on all or most of those responsibility's and worries. Darry cares deeply for both his brothers, but he also has much on his plate. Ponyboy just does not realize at that time what Darry has to do and go through, but Soda does.
His real name is Ponyboy Curtis. His brothers name is Sodapop Curtis and also there is Darrel (Darry) Curtis
In the Outsiders, Darrel is described as Ponyboy's older brother. Darrel is usually called 'Darry' by his brothers (Ponyboy and Sodapop) and the other Greasers. Darry is in a gang called the 'Greasers' who fight with the gang on the west side of town called the 'Socs'. The Greasers live on the east side of town, and Darry is one of the toughest or 'tuffest' Greasers. *I hope that answers your question. Basically, Darry is Ponyboy's older brother. (Ponyboy is the main character who's writing the story in his journal). Thanks for reading this!*
Ponyboy and Cherry both realize that the Greasers and the Socs have the same needs, wants, fears, worries and joys. They may have different ways to solve the problem but all in all - they just want to have a good day. To not be beat up or lose friends, get their homework done and have the same chances to go to school and be respected. To have parents who care about them...

If this concerns the TV ad with the pony eating the dog house, I think back in the day it was perceived that girls wanted a pony for Christmas. I don't believe there is a pony cell phone.

every day when you sign in you will ear money depending on how many ponies you have! i think each pony earns you 250 gold yes 250 gold per pony and 200 for nothing! hope it helps!
If he is in good shape and is shod, I don't think he would have a problem with a 5 or 6 mile walk in a day.
It starts on a Friday. Exactly one week from that, Dally meets up with Pony and Johnny in Windrixville. The next day is the rumble, and Johnny dies. That's eight days, plus the extra two or three days of Pony being sick and writing his theme for school.
