If you want a slowbro (the less popular choice), your slowpoke will evolve at level 37. I recommend training it in a cave or a place where there are rock/ground types, and equipping it with the lucky egg that Professor Juniper gives you (lucky eggs DOUBLE the experience you gain). Slowkings are trickier to get, as you need to have a reliable person to trade with, and you need to find a kings rock. If you have another copy of black or white and another DS, you can trade with yourself. Just equip slowpoke with a kings rock, and at any level, trade the slowpoke that is holding the kings rock. Then just have you or your reliable friend trade it back to you. Usually people use slowking, even though it's hard to get, most of it's stats are better (except for defense) than slowbro's.
