Trang died at the age of 27 in a car accident on September 3, 2001 near San Francisco, California. She and former actress/model Angela Rockwood-Nguyen, to whom Trang was to be a bridesmaid later that year, were passengers in a car traveling on Interstate 5 between San Francisco and Los Angeles. They were returning from visiting Angela's planned maid of honor when the driver (another of Angela's bridesmaids) of the vehicle she was riding in lost control. The car swerved violently across the road before hitting the roadside rock face and flipping several times before hitting the safety rail and plunging over the bank. Rockwood-Nguyen, who has claimed both that she was and was not wearing a seat belt in different interviews, survived despite being thrown out of the vehicle through a window before its final impact; as a result, however, she is now quadriplegic. Trang, who was believed not to have worn a seat belt, died from the injuries she sustained. The driver did not suffer any lasting injuries but it has not been confirmed whether she was wearing a seatbelt. The episode "Circuit Unsure" of Power Rangers: Time Force was dedicated to her memory. Trang was cremated a week later]; her ashes are interred at Rose Hills Memorial Park in Whittier, California.

In 1995, Yost had a minor role in the film Ladykiller. In 2000, he portrayed a Playboy photographer in the TV movie 'After Diff'rent Strokes: When the Laughter Stopped.' Yost was an associate producer for another TV movie, 'The Mary Kay Letourneau Story that same year'. In 2001 he tired for the first time to produce working on a series 'Alien Hunter and 'Temptation Island' but has not done so in four years. He worked as the director of production for Sci-Fi Lab, headed by the Sci-Fi Channel. He was the manager of licensing for Pioneer Entertainment where he sold completed television shows and films to networks Showtime, Starz/Encore and Cartoon Network. In 2002, Yost performed in a play called 'Fallen Guardian Angels' at "the complex" located in Los Angeles for APLA (AIDS Project Los Angeles). The play was about six actors dealing with the AIDS virus in different various situations. The proceeds went to benefit The Children's Hospitals AIDS Center. The entire production raised over $25,000 and Yost himself raised $5,000 for the hospital and received good reviews from LA Weekly Theatre. In 2004 Yosh worked as a field producer for a UK documentary series called 'You Are What You Eat.' He plans on continuing his producing and eventually wants to act on screen again.

Tommy's Green Ranger powers were drained but Rita due to her Green Candle spell but he gave his Coin to Jason as a way of stopping her from gaining his powers however Zordon later temporary recharged Tommy's powers but they were eventually completely drained in the second season of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. Zordon and Alpha 5 created new White Ranger powers and gave them to Tommy.
