When I was prompted for a format disk on ps2, I went to game stop to buy the disk. They said a disk was not available - the game was simply too scratched to play.
You need the game disc
You probably need to clean it.
if your talking about the disk to setup the online feature in PS2, you do not need it , some game's (if not all) have a feature in the online options that allow you to set up your online setting's,
no, because they have a different 'frequency' i guess u could say. thts why if u took an xbox 360 2 china or japan, then it wouldn't work.
It is rotated 90 degrees to the right on the disk trey and every manufactured PS2 I see has it upright.
A memory card that has the ability to reformat a ps2 game disk
No u can't because the digital format on the disk is different. The ps2 wouldn't even read the disk and probably worst would happen...
PS2 are on DVD discs if that is what you mean. Badly scratched Game disc can make the PS2 not know the format, but it is just a bad disc
You need the game disc
no you need the game to play the save
Games on disk are UMD format, PSN games are .pkg format.
get a disk repair kit
No
You probably need to clean it.
it's kinda obvious. you open the disk tray and put the game in. the you hit restart
Yes some Video Game series still are making PS2 game versions with the other versions of game consoles being released. No one is making PS2 exclusive games for release or releasing existing games in a PS2 format
