The reasons are : 1 ) North African States of Black people by 700 b.c was defeated by the Arabs through the Jihad war and therefore became occupied and ruled by the Arab - Asiatic Regions . 2 ) After the fall of the last Pharaoh ( War which started from 1090 b.c to 700 b.c ) , most blacks migrated to the south forming more kingdoms south of Sahara desert 1090 b.c to 700 b. c and these Kindoms became known as the Kindoms of the Sudan people - ( the term Sudan meaning Black in Arab Language ) 3 ) From 1840 - the Western European Colonialists fought to colonise and colonised all the Lands Territories below Sahara desert ( The Lands or Territories of the Blacks ) , Thus purely now to confuse people have given a broad name as South Sahara to these land Territories of the Black which are till now under the Western European Sovereignities By Lado
