What happen to the children of Marie-Antoinette?

Well, she had four children, two girls and two boys. A brief summary: Her oldest daugther grew up, her first son died as a child, her second son died in prison, and her youngest daughter died as a baby. For a more detailed description: The oldest, Marie-Therese, was the only member of the royal family to survive the revolution. She was taken to Vienna. She went on to marry and died at the age of 72. Marie Antoinette's second child, a son (the Dauphin), died when he was not yet 8. Her third child, also a son, became Dauphin after his brother's death. He died in prison when he was only ten years old. The last child, another daughter, died a little less than a month before her first birthday.

Actually Marie Therese was queen of France herself--for about 15 minutes. She married one of the sons of her father's brothers. This cousin was the son of Charles X, brother of Louis XVI. Charles X was one of the Bourbon kings in a restoration after the Revolution(the other was Louis XVIII, the other brother of Louis XVI). Charles X abdicated when the people asked for reforms of his power. His throne passed briefly to his son but the son followed his father's lead and abdicated in about 15 minutes.

The throne was then offered to their cousin, Louis Philippe, Duc d Orleans. He accepted the throne but changed the title to King of the French to designate the change from the main house of Bourbon to the cadet house of Bourbon-Orleans.
