Long story short: in the final scene, Erik kidnaps Christine and forces her to marry him. Raoul comes in and tries to save the day but Erik catches Raoul in his punjab lasso (noose) before he can save Christine. Then Erik decides to make a deal with Christine: either she can choose to live with him forever and Raoul will go free, or she can choose freedom but that will mean the death of Raoul. Thus comes the famous line "Make your choice." Christine, feeling pity and a boat load of mixed emotions for Erik that I don't want to go into right now, suddenly kisses Erik.

Erik is speechless, and realizes he can't keep her there forever because she would never be happy and he loves her too much, so he sets her free, and she leaves in the boat with Raoul. Meanwhile, the Opera House mob is on it's way to find and kill Erik, so at the very end he disappears from the audience, and only his mask is ever found.

If u mean the very very end well you see Christine's husband Ralph arriving at Christine's grave. She died of old age perhaps because they never showed her death. Anyway when he arrives, he sees a single red rose on the side and it ends like that. I'm guessing or it is the phantom of the opera. But the movie combines in mostly the past when it shows Christine young. Hope this helps!

Who would you want to play in Phanto of the Opera?

Personally I think Gerard Butler did a pretty good job in the 2004 movie, however on stage Michael Crawford was brilliant in the original cast of Phantom, But also Ramin Karimloo who currently is playing Phantom in Andrew Lloyd Webbers sequel Love Never Dies, played Phantom in the West End's production of Phantom of the Opera and cameo'd Christine's father in the 2004 movie Phantom of the Opera. He gives an breathtaking performance of Phantom in both Phantom and Love Never Dies and has a truly amazing voice.

The phantom of the opera sad incident?

Well, you aren't really giving me much to go on, but seeing other simiar questions, I'm guessing that this is a homework assignment or something? My first knee-jerk response is to tell you to read the book yourself and figure it out. But if you want the cliff notes version, the tragedy of the Phantom's story is that he was an extremely talented man who would have been one of the most celebrated men of his day, were it not for his unfortunate appearance. Basically he had everything going for him except looks, and that one single lack condemned him to a life of isolation and loneliness. From the final paragraphs of the epilogue (de Matteo translation): "Poor, unhappy Erik! Shall we pity him? Shall we curse him? He only asked to be 'someone,' like everybody else. And he had to hide his genius or use it to play tricks with, when, with an ordinary face, he would have been one of the most distinguished of mankind! He had a heart that could have held the empire of the world; and, in the end, he had to content himself with a cellar. Ah, yes, we must needs pity the Opera ghost."

An important lesson in the phantom of the opera and give some evidence?

Don't judge a book by it's cover! See how the phantom turned out? There is good in everyone. The phantom changed in the end of the musical. When you can sing Christine's last note in the phantom of the opera, It doesn't mean you can sing The music of the night in the phantoms octave. I've tried.

What is your reaction in the phantom of the opera?

Well it all depends on what one you are talking about. for the 2004 version (the only one i have seen) I basically cried my eyes out by the end of the film, also i had a very hateful disliking to Raoul, Because he stole Christen's heart. but it is all a mater of opinion

Where does the Phantom of the Opera go at the end of the movie?

I was able to dicuss with the producers of phantom of the opera and they said they did not plan to know where he went after he left the fire at the opera, but if he was to go somewhere, he would go to another opera, try to find another place to hide,or just roam wherever he pleased, i believe that he would roam wherever he wanted because when he was n the opera he did not leave, and at the end of the movie it showed one of his roses on the cement block of Christine daae's grave.
