okay, so at the end, turns up that Ali had a twin sister named Courtney. they're identical. one day, Courtney was pretending to be Ali because she doesnt want to start with a new mental institution (Courtney had a mental problem) and she was jealous of Ali because Ali doesnt have to stay in mental institutions and had a perfect life. that day was the day when Aria, Hanna, Spence and Emily was going to steal Ali's piece of flag in her backyard. Courtney went to the backyard and pretending to be Ali and talk with them. and after that, they have to go to the mental institution. Their parents thought Ali was Courtney because she didnt wear her 'A-is-for-Ali' ring and Courtney took it. Ali told them that she is the real Ali but they just ignore it. So the real Ali had to stay in the mental institution as Courtney. Meanwhile, Courtney-as-Ali ditched Naomi and Riley (Ali's bestfriends) and befriend with Aria etc. Courtney ruined Ali's life and Ali got tired of it so she killed Courtney.
