Robbie's Puppet in VicTORious
you get rex from a place that sells puppets that looks like that in Hollywood
Robbie's puppet gets severely damaged, and his pals see this as a way for Robbie to let go of Rex. However, Tori's unsure if saying good bye to Rex is really what's best for Robbie.
If you watched the ending you'll see that Rex cut the line. Technically, Robbie did it for Rex. This was because she....I forgot. Either hit him or call I'm a puppet. :/
Matt Bennett does the puppeteer work but Jake Farrow the writer of Victorious and iCarly does the voice of Rex. You might see Robbie's (Matt Bennett) lips moving when Rex talks, but that is just to make the viewers think that Robbie does Rex's voice. They do this to make it more realistic. He doesn't get credit for voicing Rex. He gets credit for writing scripts.

Robbie Shapiro is a charcater of a show named Victorious and has a unusual puppet Rex and he's totally weird, but cool
That character is Rex Powers, a puppet portrayed by Robbie Shapiro on the show Victorious. Rex is snarky and often used to convey Robbie's inner thoughts or feelings.
He didn't change at all.
