Meanwhile, Damon and Elena follow Stefan's trail and Elena almost gets caught by Klaus; and Tyler worries about Caroline and turns to her mum for help as it turns out Caroline's dad is tried to fix her vampire curse.

As Stefan sinks deeper into the dark side, Damon and Elena struggle with the guilt of their growing bond, even as they work together to bring Stefan back from the edge.
