no one knows so far but maybe because Damon will tell Stefan that he kissed Elana (but its really Katherine ) so they might split for a little bit but not for long

∙ 10y agoYes, Elena does survive Season 2 on The Vampire Diaries. Elena Gilbert not only survives Season 2 but also Season 3 and Season 4. The Vampire Diaries first aired on September 10, 2009.
