If by capacities you mean voltages then they will add in series and have the voltage of the lower one in parallel. Putting them in parallel will generate alot of heat because the wire acts as resistor to allow the current to drop from the first battery to the second.

How do you connect psp when batterie is dead?

Replace the batteries.

How do you make a circuit with 3 bulbs 2 switches and and 2 batteries where the 1st switch controls the lighting of all the bulbs and the 2nd switch controls the lighting of the second bulb?

Connect the two batteries for the voltage needed. If they are 12 volt batteries and the lights are 12 volts, connect the batteries in parallel (negative to negative and positive to positive). If they are 12 volt batteries and the lights are 24 volts, connect the batteries in series (negative of one battery to positive of the other). Run a wire from batteries to first switch, then to two of the lights and the other switch (in parallel). From the second switch run a wire to the third light, then connect all three lights back to the battery.

How can you connect three resistors in parallel?

Twist the three pigtails together and solder them.

List all components needed to connect 2 computers together?

All the components needed to connect 2 computers together are two Ethernet cards, a network switch and 2 Ethernet cables. Alternatively a single USB transfer cable can be used for simple file transfers.

Can you charge two 6v batteries in a series with a 12v charger and which posts do you connect the charger to?

Yes you can. Connect the chargers positive lead to the positive of one battery, then the negative side of that battery to the positive side of the other battery, then connect the negative lead of the charger to the negative of the second battery. Double check all your connections and turn on the charger.

Is it practical to connect batteries of different emfs in series?

You can connect batteries with different voltages in series (a 6 volt and a 12 volt would give you 18 volts), but never in parallel (difference of potential will create an arc, batteries could blow up).

Can you connect a 9v battery to a 3.7v cellphone battery parallel?

No you shouldn't do that. The voltages are different, and paralleling batteries aren't a good idea anyway. Why would you want to do this?

Addition of batteries increase the total voltage?

Yes.If you connect the batteries in series the total voltage will be the sum of the voltages of the batteries. For example if you connect a 12 volt battery in series with a 6 volt battery the total voltage will be 18 volts.

What happens when you connect batteries in parallel?

When you connect batteries in parallel, the positive terminals are connected together and the negative terminals are connected together. This increases the total capacity of the batteries, allowing them to provide more power for a longer period of time.

How can I connect batteries to increase voltage?

To increase voltage, you can connect batteries in series. This involves connecting the positive terminal of one battery to the negative terminal of another battery. The total voltage will be the sum of the individual battery voltages. Make sure the batteries are of the same type and capacity for best results.

How do you connect 2 6 volt batteries in parallel to make 12 volts?

If you connect 2 six volt batteries in parallel it will still give you six volts but it will give you twice the cranking power. To obtain twelve volts from the two six volt batteries they will have to be connected in series.

How do you hook up 4 6volt batteries to get 12 volt?

Connect two 6 volt batteries in series. Connect the other two 6 volt batteries in series. Now connect those 2 pairs you have together in parallel. You will end up with 12 volts.

How can you wire 4-12 VDC batteries together to get 24 VDC out of them?

You would connect two 12-v batteries in series to get 24 Volts, but if you have four, you can connect two sets of batteries in parallel and then connect the two sets of parallel batteries in series, giving you 24 volts with twice the ampere-hour capacity (four batteries rather than two).

How would you connect two 12volt batteries together to get 24volts?

Connect them in Series and you will get 24 volts but the amperage will be the same as 1 battery.

How do you connect to 12 volt batteries together in a series to get 24 volts?

How are batteries connected together to obtain more current capacity?

A way of connecting batteries together to provide more current is to connect them in parallel. This allows more capacity at the same voltage. If the batteries were connected in series the voltage would be increased.

What happens if you connect two batteries of the same voltage positive pole to positive and negative to negative?

If the batteries have EXACTLY the same voltage, then nothing will happen, because there will be no voltage drop in the circuit, and hence no current. If the batteries have SLIGHTLY different voltages, then there will be a voltage drop in the circuit. Since there is low resistance, there might be high current, causing damage and/or an explosion. In all probability, however, there is enough internal resistance in the batteries to simply cause them to equalize in voltage.
