They took too many of they're Natural Resources and gave them illnesses such as small pox, measels and infulenza. Because of that, the population fell dramatically. Over the course of 40 years, a tribe was completely destroyed. Which brings us to the battle between the hurons and the Iroquois caused by the Europeans because they both wanted to trade fur to the europeans but they went to the hurons so the hurons were soon destroyed because of the illnesses they had. The Iroquois took advantage of all that. so that's really the whole story hope it helps oh! they also inslaved them. =D

not all First Nations were allies of the Europeans. ex. the beothuk were hunted down by the Europeans for bounty because they didn't want to have the Europeans on their land.
That's simply, other then the Vikings and First Nations it was the Europeans.
Conflict between First Nations and Europeans in Canada arose primarily due to differing views on land ownership and resource use. Europeans sought to expand their territories for agriculture, trade, and settlement, often disregarding Indigenous land rights and treaties. This led to displacement, resource depletion, and cultural disruptions for First Nations communities. Additionally, the imposition of European laws and systems further exacerbated tensions and misunderstandings between the two groups.
Fur ! Obviously lol. Beaver Fur was a popular choice among all of the animals they had to choose from.
When the Europeans first settled in the east, many First Nation tribes fought to keep their land. When they lost their land they moved into the west. This was no problem in the beginning, however; the problem emerged when the CPR was created, starting in the east, and began to move more and more Europeans out west. The First Nations were forced even farther west until the CPR was completed "from coast to coast" and the First Nations had no where else to go. Without the CPR, the Europeans would not have settled as quickly into the west, leaving the First Nations more time to fight for their land.

The first nations helped the Europeans because it was good to trade with them to get metals for fur.
Europeans
Europeans traded various weapons with First Nations, including firearms such as muskets and rifles, along with ammunition. They also exchanged knives, hatchets, and other metal tools that were valuable for hunting and warfare. These weapons significantly altered Indigenous hunting practices and intertribal dynamics. The introduction of these technologies often had profound impacts on First Nations societies, including shifts in power and territorial conflicts.
