What is the moral of Tuck Everlasting?
There are several things to gain from Tuck Everlasting. One is that the whole idea of the "circle of life" is important and that dying is just a much a part of living. Death is a certainty and even though the Tucks offer Winnie a way out of that circle (immortality from drinking from the spring) it is best not to mess with the natural order of things. Another thing that can be learned from this is that greed can get the best of people. The man in the yellow suit is greedy and tries to get the spring for himself, but because of this greed he suffers his fate at the end. On the topic of themes there are many such as independence (Winnie wanting freedom), Order vs. Disorder (natural order of life vs. Tucks and their immortality) as well as the general topic of death. Death is a touchy subject that can be taught with this book in a way that will help adolescents understand the idea of death and its inevitability.

How the human condition affects school violence?
Happiness starts in the home. If the home life of the child is dysfunctional and there are no positive influences/adults in their life and all they see is struggle and strife, just like anything else, we humans are a product of our environment. Human condition is tantamount to actions by the person themselves. Someone that has nothing and is desperate will do anything they can to survive, someone else that has a little bit more will stay afloat and struggle, the ones that earn it, maintain and stay on even keel and the ones that get it given to them, either dont appreciate it and take it for granted or they continue to respect how they got what they have. Sadly enough our world is turning into alot of what I call, me-me's, looking out for number one, only. You do and should take care of yourself but not out of greed or indifference but in my little world that is when a person has a conscious and morals. Someone that doesnt care what happens to the person next to them can sleep at night like a pussycat. Children see this, they hear this, they emulate the media hype, they are very impressionable and buy into alot of negativity when that is all that is around them. They also see that nothing gets done when someone does something wrong, loop holes, politics and greed take over there. Life is what we make of it and its time people stop using excuses and start making changes for the better of us all.

Greed is bad because it undermines society, eventually destroying it. Society, in this case, is all life, human or otherwise. When you are greedy, i.e. taking more than you need or hoarding your supplies, you prohibit your brothers from having what they need. If your brother is unable to satisfy his physical and mental needs, he suffers. Ecosystems really are only as strong as the weakest link. When one member of society suffers, he places a strain on the rest of society (read: disease, poor productivity, over-production causing poor health and fatigue, nominal education, increased propensity to breed, unattractive, and monetary drain), which unfairly taxes everyone (because of your greed).To try and compensate for your hoarding of a resource, people then overproduce, mine, et cetera, which causes an influx in the value of the commodity. The value, initially high, drops because people force abundance on this thing. In turn, rogue miners find ways to black market diamonds (blood diamonds, but as a great cost to the quality of human life (death). Very simply put, if companies were not so greedy, people would not be so dead.If you, instead of being greedy and taking more than you need, share with your brother, you each meet your basic needs. Chances are he has a surplus of something you need, and when you both share, you both benefit (prisoners dilemma, behavioral economics). When people's basic physical needs are met, they are able to pursue higher needs such as education and spirituality/philosophy (Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs), which improves a society's abilities to function.
