Well, any names are perfectly fine for a scary story unless you are setting the story in a specific time period or area that would use particular names. You wouldn't find an Indian named Bob Smith during the 1600s!

Sometimes picking names purely for "scare" purposes can backfire. Having every character have a goth name or supposedly scary name can make the story seem amateurish.
