Ghost in the Shell 1&2 Movie: Took place in 2029 AD. Well Ghost in the Shell centers around Major Motoko Kusanagi. A female cyber agent working for Public Securtiy Scetion 9 (A secret cop organization that centers around cyber warfare) Major along with the other in the Section 9 team, tries to find out The Cyber Brain hacker The Puppet Master. The Puppet Master is a hacker that hacks cyber brains. They spend the whole movie trying to figue out how to solve it. Then at the end Major and the Puppet Master fuse together to make an entity. And the new body (That Batou, her partener, gave her after her body was fully blown up but somehow saved her cyberbrain) that Batou gave her at the end. She dissapears at the end saying her most famous line "The net is vast and infinte..." The 1st manga in the 1st movie has the same plot.

Ghost in the Shell 2: Took place in 2032 AD. Well this one centers around Batou, who is lonely and a little depressed after Major left. Batou is took place after Majors dissapearence 3 years ago. "Pleasure dolls" somehow become a virus and go on a mass rade killing people. I didnt pay much attention to it because it was kind of big nonsense. At the end Major comes back for a short time helping Batou destroy the dolls. She leaves afer she was done helping him saying "Batou, remember, whenever you access the net.. i will always be with you.. by your side..." Then she just falls to the ground after she sinks herself into the net. Those were the only movies they made so far.

Ghost in the Shell SAC: Took place in 2032 AD. This is a totally separate universe from the original movie. More like a spin off. It once again centers around Major. They have to figure out the different Cyber brain taker called The Laughing Man. Although he is kind of good. Mostly he is. He finds people who uses illegel acts such as terroism. But he does it in an illegal way so it puts him as a criminal also. At the end They find him and actually don't arrest him, instead Section 9 actually wants him to be a recruit for it. But he refuses and admits that he isn't a team player. And Section has fallen but in the end tries to be a SECRET agent community with ALL of the govenment thinking that it isn't a real secrity anymore. And i forgot to add that this series has mini AI think tanks called Tachikomas. They are used for combat but one drank natural oil from Batou and that causes the AI's to have individuality because they all share an AI and AI thoughts. So they all share the same moments.

Ghost in the Shell SAC 2nd Gig: This takes place a year after the evnts in SAC. Section 9 is now allowed to be aficial again and regroups and is back and better than ever! Now they have to figure out the Individual Eleven case. I haven't understood completley what this season is about but ill tell you what i can. The Individual 11 mostly ALL commited suicide, except one Survivor, Hideo Kuze. He takes refugees and gets them to help, but he does it in a kind of illegal way. But he isn't nessecarily bad, but the Individual 11 was a terreroist group, so it kinda takes him as a criminal. Also Major was human once, so was Kuze. They both knew each other from the start. They were the only survivors in a plane crash. Unfortunatly the girl died after words leaving the boy alone. The boy was all paralized except his left arm. he used it to silentlty fold paper cranes. One day a girl comes to him. She was a full cybernetic child. Later he noticed that that was the girl who survived. He decided to get a full prostetic body too. He spent most of his life searching for the girl. He found the girls old body, but her brain was removed to an adult body which is Major now. The boy well man stopped searching and never spent the time at the antique shop that he visited the girls body. And at the end Major said that that was the first boy she ever loved. Anyway moving on, at the end of 2nd gig the Tachikoams AI units sacrificed themselves to stop a nuclear missle that was heading for Japan. And at the very end Kuze and Major noticed that they were the two boy and girl. But Kuze ends up supposibly died. But the refuges wenbt to the net and so it could be in the net with them. So Major and the new Ai units leave but she told the others to go on after they left Major left too, but she took.. her own path.

Solid State Society: Takes place in 2034. MAjor has resigned from Section 9 and Togusa ( a rookie and main character before) has been the leader of it now. Batou refuses because he just cant stand taking Majors place. This movie is almost the same as the first movie but its has different times and different features. The Puppeteteer, a cyberbrain hacker that makes people to commit suicde, hack people and Section 9 does everything to do to stop it. Togusa and the rest of Section 9 except Batou, believes that Major is the Puppeteer, but at the near end of the movie it turns out not. She actually saves Togusa from commiting sucide. They find the puppeteer but they could not find the identity, and it died. This is the only installment of GitS that was the last so far. Major repeats her famous line "The net is vast and infinet"
