No because the Xbox 360 was out for a longer time than PlayStation 3. It is estimated that PlayStation 3 will overtake Xbox 360 by the end of the year though. PlayStation 3 is the better console, but use to cost a lot more. Now they are both the same price.

That's strange I think they both sold close to 50 million why isn't the number higher. More than one person can play a PS3 or Xbox so the number should be about 100 million for both, just calculating an answer

The PS3 has been selling only 5.5 years to the Xbox 360 6.5 years. The PS3 console Total Console Worldwide Sales is a few million less than Xbox 360.
