You need a citrus fruit, a copper wire, anda galvanized nail.

Stick wire and nail into fruit about 1"-2" apart, an be careful not to let them touch or puncture a hole through the bottm. It will only light a lightbulb that uses 4 volts or less, so it isn't a very efficient energy source.
